Hiking

One Sunday afternoon we went on a family friendly hike up the landslide that's by my parents house with the Eppich's and Michael and Brittany.

Raegan and Remi had a lot of fun!

This picture cracks me up. Kynleigh must of gotten a little too warm in her coat, so John decided to wear it on his head. haha
Taking a little break at the "waterfall"

Raegan learned to ride a pedal bike

For Raegan's 3rd birthday we bought her a Strider balance bike. She didn't really care about it that summer we got it but as soon as winter was over and it was starting to warm up outside we got some good use out of it by going on walks down our road. It didn't take her all but a couple rides to figure out her balance.
Than at the beginning of spring John thought she was ready to ride a pedal bike with no training wheels. Well, he was right. She literally took off on it on her second attempt. No scrapped knees, no bumps, no crashes at all! She loves going on bike rides now and I'm so glad she does because that means the stroller is that much lighter! She is so cute on her pedal bike.

Easter

Time for some major catch up! I am so far behind and I keep avoiding it, but I know one day I'll be glad I kept this blog going.

Easter, April 20th, 2014
Easter is a major traditional holiday for my family! The night before we always lay out the clothes we wore that day into a little nest for the Easter bunny, than the next morning our nest are filled with some fun little gifts and he usually left hidden eggs in our house as well, sometimes with filled with money or sometimes candy. We have done this for as long as I can remember. Then after Church that Sunday a lot of the Edler relatives will get together and have a delicious meal and have a huge egg hunt followed by some outdoor fun.  The weather was a tad chilly this Easter, but nothing unbearable. This year we did something new. I made up a scavenger hunt since some of the cousins are getting older, I think they enjoyed that but next year will have to make it a little harder, those kids were too smart! :) My parents got an extra fun surprise this year! Michael and Brittany did a cute egg hunt announcing their pregnancy! We were all so shocked and so excited!!!

Stuffing Easter eggs. I think there were close to 300 eggs.
My parents rented a bounce house. It got lots of food use!
Kynleigh didn't think the egg hunt was all that cool, until she realized there was candy inside the eggs, than she was all about it.
Raegan found a lot of the money eggs this year. She was a lucky girl!
It isn't a true Easter party till someone is caught napping! haha
 Off on the scavenger hunt!
Michael and Raegan might of been the smarter ones at the scavenger hunt, who wants to run?! haha

Brian Regan concert

A friend of my had the idea to buy our husbands Brian Regan tickets for Christmas. Well, since we didn't really do Christmas gifts this year because we were in the Caribbean I decide to give my to John for Valentines day. He was really excited. He often quotes Brian Regan. We had a good size group that was with us. We went out to eat at Costa Vida before the show, it was delicious as always. John really enjoyed the Concert. I personally felt that the guy who opened up  was funnier than Brian Regan himself. But I had never really listened to him before so I'm sure it is funnier if you know his jokes. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our group of friends that went with us!

Triple play

We were invited by the Eppich's to join their fun weekend getaway to Triple-Play. On our way there we stopped at the park in down town Spokane, rode the Carousel a couple times, feed the geese our left over lunch and played on the big red wagon! I think the kids enjoyed it!
Raegan and Remi spent a lot of time in the Hot tub! They are no dummies, they know what temperature of water feels best! :)
Kynleigh spend most of her time on this slide. She LOVED it! She was pretty fearless on it!
These two cuties with matching hair! :)

I'm so glad that our kids our close in age!
Kia getting warmed up to the slide, such a cute kid!

The Arcade was a hit with the kids.
I think this was Kynleigh and Kia's first date! haha They were so cute on it together.
It was a little cold outside for the Go-Carts but we sure had fun on them anyways.

I think John is trying to keep peace between the girls in this picture. They are a lot a like. Bowling with little babies is not enjoyable, we found out. Kynleigh just wanted the pins the whole times.

We had a great weekend! We hope to do something fun again with them soon! :)

Raegan

This little girl is growing up way too fast! She is such a fun outgoing girl! She loves her girly things but won't pass up an opportunity to have some redneck fun. haha She is well round and that's just the way we like her! She is really enjoying preschool. I think her favorite part in just being with her friends. She is starting to recognize most the letters in the alphabet. There are some she forgets still but she is getting there. She has such an incredible vocabulary and sometimes I feel like she uses bigger words than I do. Raegan is definitely bossy! I think that comes hand in hand with being the oldest and being a girl! She also is strong willed and doesn't let anything fly passed her, she can hold her own against pretty much anyone, little turkey! She loves to help out in the kitchen and is a great help to go grab things for me or put things away. I love that I have two girls, they will be so much help when they are older (I can't wait).

Papa got our childhood 3 wheeler fixed. Raegan got to go help pick it up from the Bike Doctor (that's what she calls the bike shop) once it was fixed.
This little bike has definitely got good use over the years. It has brought tons of laughter and tears. haha We all survived though! So glad she is learning to enjoy it as much as we did. She is getting to the point where I almost trust her to ride around on her own. She is starting to get more brave on it and I try to make her wear her helmet now. She hates wearing it, but we are working on her.
Our preschool group went on a field trip to the fire station. Raegan thought it was pretty neat and Kynleigh thought she was one of the preschoolers.
Aunt Morgan got out some of the old prom dresses. Raegan wanted to try on the purple one. Its her new favorite color.
She looks so sweet and innocent. She likes riding in her big girl car seat, it's so much better!

Raegan thought Wyatt's dune Racer was pretty cool. She wasn't very good at driving it though. haha She needs some practice.
Always trying to do Cheerleading jumps just like aunt Morgan.
"Don't worry mom I know how to fix it". She loves to hang out with dad in the shop and play tools. John is starting to notice more and more tools are missing. oops!
This is her attempt to build a sand Castle. We miss our sand box that we left in Idaho.
Another cheesy smile of Raegan's. Love her! haha
Raegan is getting better at sharing. Lately though, she is on a kick that she has to be first; first to get in the bath, first to get in the car, first to get a drink, first to get on the tractor....Hopefully it passes soon.
We go on walks a lot to visit our neighbor's horses. She wants to ride them SO badly. Maybe one day soon. John just needs to buy the girl a horse ;)
We are now the owners of two goldfish. Raegan bought them and the fish food with her own money. She is pretty excited about it. We will see how long they survive.
